16-year-old Violet Nealson lives with her 21-year-old friend Kendall and her five-year-old daughter, Paige. Even though there's a five year age gap between the two, that doesn't stop them from being the best of friends.

It isn't until that one day that Violet realizes how much of a good friend and mother Kendall is, which is why she reluctantly agrees to go to a concert with Kendall and Paige. "Who's concert?" you may be asking. The concert is for the one, the only, The Wanted.

At that concert is where all of Violet's secrets are revealed thanks to a certain someone, and where she catches the eye of the youngest member of the band, Nathan Sykes.
