Steven is happy with his life. He really is. He's got the gems, his dad, Connie, and everyone else as friends, and he loves those. However, the Malachite and Peridot problem has been putting a heap of stress on him that he doesn't want.
The truth is, we don't know our Steven completely, and he doesn't know himself completely either. But does he want to know himself?

After a heated argument about using said powers, Nora flees to the mountains and witnesses an event that puts her life in danger, forcing her family to send her to Beach City to be under the protection of her Gem Aunts. What if there was a new family who is moving to Beach city just have a peaceful life, but they ended up meeting a strange boy who is so overly Positive but has a troubled life that's trying to hide his problems with his bright smile? what do they do when they meet? This takes place after the spinel incident and steven meets a whole new family moving to beach City! Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
