Luna is a 17 year old girl, who has had a rough childhood. Finally her mother decides to settle down in New Jersey after moving around a lot. when she starts a new school she meets a boy who she dreamed about meeting. When they are paired up to do a school project Luna finally opens up about her history to her project partner.
A few days later, the principle announces that there is going to be a masquerade and of course Luna gets asked to go. Though, on the night of the ball everything starts out fine but when a body gets discovered, all hell breaks loose and its only a matter of time before Luna's back story gets uncovered.

This is the sequel to 'The Masquerade'. Anna has just been injected with something by the Elders while in the hospital that will erase her memory from everything and everyone she knew.
