It was weird, that night I had fallen asleep in my own bed. But that certainly was not the place I woke up in. Waking up in an unfamiliar place in, what seemed to be the middle of the forest was unsettling in the least. I had only just turned 15 and had only been in high school for a month, when I made a wish to escape what I considered then to be the hardest part of my life. Oh how wrong I was. I had somehow fallen into a fictional world that day, and I have not been able to leave since. Not that I would want to anymore. It's been quite a while since that day. I guess you could call this a sort of memoir of my life from the moment I dropped unceremoniously into this world to what my life is like now. Follow my story of love, loss, and everything in between.

I was falling, falling to my death. The wind, taking my breath as I yelled to my friends for help. "Anha! Risa! H-Help me, please, help me!" They stood looking down on me from the top of the cliff . Their faces changing from normal to bloodied and mangled and back again. They laughed at me. "It should have been you who fell Kyamyi." They said, their faces staying mangled this time. "You did this to us, so now were giving you what you deserve." I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for the inevitable impact with the bottom of the cliff. But what I hit was not the cold stone of the cliff, It was soft, warm dirt. When I opened my eyes I did not see the dark claustrophobic walls of the cliff, but green forest all around. When I lifted my head I could see what looked like a fire in the distance, but I wouldn't find out if it was fire or not, because I woke up.
