"Respect is earned. Honesty is appreciated. Loyalty is returned." He grabbed my burning wrist tighter as I tried to shrug off his brooding figure.
"We are the people you were warned about, the monsters in your closet.". He grinned, and if I hadn't known then then I knew now that the green specks in his eyes were not just foretelling the forests that I was surrounded by. They were showing my endless fear as I breathed raggedly whenever the knife carved deeper into my arm.
"Now despite your wishes," he grinned one last time, the curls of his childish hair falling against his pale face. He threw the knife towards the ground, red stains pooling around the silver and looked towards the carved P. "You're one of us."
"You're insane." I hissed, grabbing my arm as the blood continued to pour down in dark droplets.
"It's all part of the game, love."
"Welcome to Neverland, North."

And one night as he's talking with one of the boys a girl with her golden hair barge in and thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. The next night he came back to watch her a little bit hoping that she would be the "mother" of the boys who were on Neverland. He offers her a chance of a lifetime to come with him but, she says only if my brothers can come long. And as they get to Neverland the battle that was brewing with his rival became stronger and put the girl named Wendy (who he started to like) in more danger then he thought. Mermaids, beaches, fairies! this place is awesome. someone then snatched the book out my hands. "Mermaids? what is this crap?" I looked up to see Cynthia and her clique. "why do you carry this thing around with you all the time?" I stood up and held out my hand. "give it back." "why? it's not like you can read it, you're stupid." Her words didn't mean anything to me but those words are going to come back to me tonight and punch me in the face. "How old are you? aren't you like 16 and reading this children's book?" How long have you been here Michelle? Tears welled up in my eyes. I knew what was coming next. "answer me, hoe!" "10 years" I mumbled.
