The world is burning. The sun is gone. They are the last ones. How long before the world goes dark? Is there hope? This story is based off of a terrifying nightmare I have had several times. One time it was so realistic that I had to write it down. Since then, I have stopped having the nightmares. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I do!

Patience and Perseverance

An apocalyptic drama in 12 chapters, two parts (6 chapters each), and about 32k words. For fans of such uplifting works as The Road by Cormac McCarthy or The Plague by Albert Camus. Intended/recommended to be read in one single sitting. Next best thing would be in 2 sessions, for both parts (chapters 1-6 and 7-12). Last resort would be chapter by chapter.
