Tom Clarke has been trapped in a hell-hole for 4000 years, forced to keep his master's enemy from the Earth. One day, something happens and he gets to leave and help with a police investigation to do with his family's murder. But when he falls through a hole into another reality, he discovers a different part of himself, a better part of himself. With this new part, he returns to Earth and uses his new "body" to get revenge on the killer.
