It's Back to Bellwood for Ben.

When Winter Break comes around the corner, Mikoto is excited to come back to Ben's home town to spend Christmas with the Tennysons. A nice quiet city, where nobody's trying to experiment with you. Though granted, the tendency for aliens to turn up is rather overly usual.  However, Mikoto isn't the only one from Academy City who comes to Bellwood. All 10 Level 5s are here too, each of them for their own reasons, and tensions are running high between them and the Highbreed who have also turned up in the vicinity, leading to an all out Battle Royale between Aliens and Espers.

Mikoto misaka is the third strongest esper in academy city. She meets Ben after being saved from aliens by him. Not long after she starts to feel something for the strange and heroic boy. Meanwhile, the Board of Directors have taken an interest in Ben Tennyson after his success in defeating the Eigth Level 5 Impulser.. the Level 5 whose power was impossible to categorize.. and Aleister Crowley, the City administrator has taken up a rather sinister plan to find out how to test this new weapon in his arsenal... attract the most powerful conquerer in the Galaxy to do battle with that boy. Meanwhile, Ben is starting to realize the possibility that he might have feelings for Mikoto, but is scared of what it might mean... And while Mikoto feels the same way, she doesn't know what to do with those feelings.. But of course.. all things must eventually converge and resolve, for better or for worse.

Meanwhile, Ben, Mikoto, and company, have spent the better part of the entire year battling on the side of Academy City in various warzones, Ben further questioning all the while whether the side he picked is the right one. So far, the only reason for the war not breaking out into something worse is due to Russians fearing the power of Ben's current most powerful form: Atomix. However, Ben and Mikoto are called by Necessarius to accompany Index and Touma as an extra security measure to investigate the Eurotunnel Bombing. And along the way, Ben meets the 3 Princesses of the British Royal Family, Rimea, Villian and Carissa. Villian is currently being backed by Necessarius for the throne.. however, Carissa is intent to gain her royal birthright.. by any means necessary.

A large city in Japan that is comprised completely of research centers, colleges, high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools. 81 percent of it's population is comprised of students while 60 percent of students are super powered psychics created through Academy City's power development program called Espers. Mikoto Misaka is the third strongest Esper out of that 2.1 billion that dwell in Academy City, being also a prestigious student at the most high class all girl's school in the entire world. Naturally, having such high powers, she has faced many weird phenomenon within the city known for the weird and scientifically advanced. However.. her knowledge about the universe is challenged when she meets a particularly weak esper named Ben Tennyson, whose been living on the streets because he couldn't afford the dorm. And as Mikoto will soon discover.. Ben's true powers.. completely unrelated to his esper ones... are quite out of this world...literally.. Things then start to get more confusing as strange people in kimonos calling themselves Soul Reapers attempt to capture Mikoto, Natsu, and Lucy, saying that they now know too much and must have their minds wiped............Now if Mikoto wishes to protect her friends and discover who she truly is....she must reawaken both the esper and Dragon Slayer power that has been sleeping within her.......or Yugami town might become an everlasting prison.
