Harry wanted to leave, he just couldn't stay anymore. His childhood was filed with empty beer bottles and black and blue bruises, and the only way to start the healing was to escape the place that brought up these memories in the first place - his home. 

Louis needed to go back, he needed to find is way. His childhood was filled with emptiness, a lonely void of trying to just survive. The only way to fill up the empty void in his life was a family, so he needed to go back to where he could find them - his home.
