Drew Chadwick is a troubled teen. His dad is abusive and his mother is a busy flight attendant. When he gets into trouble trying to show off, he is expelled from school, where he is a well-known bully, and moves to Arizona. In Arizona, he goes from the "big, bad bully" to a nobody. He's quickly targeted by bullies and that only troubles him more. Along the way, he attracts the attention of a girl, Maya Andrews. As much as she likes him, he pushes her away because of his own insecurities.
