Ellie is hospitalised after an attempted suicide. While she is in hospital she is visited every day by her best friend Cameron. One day Cam brings one of his best friends with him. Ellie gets a long well with him and soon they become great friends. They share a journey of fun, laughter, tears, happiness, sadness and maybe some love. He shows her how much she is loved and gives her the strength to keep going. But what happens when he goes on tour and Ellie is left at home all alone with her own thoughts?
