Watching the guy you like trying to swallow some girl's face isn't a pleasant experience, especially not for Hermione. It was a dizzying swirl of emotions, and she isn't sure what to make of these gnawing feelings, so she escapes into an empty classroom to sort it out. 

She doesn't expect a visitor.

 Harry never really pegged his best mate as a physical guy, but he was clearly being shown up. The victory was fantastic, yes, but he couldn't help but think to tell them to take their "celebration" elsewhere. The snogging session was so intense that it actually pained him to be in the same room with them. 

Besides, he couldn't help but notice a familiar bushy mane disappear through the portrait as it swung shut.
