Agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder are assigned the case of a missing family. It would seem a relatively normal case, until the current family receives a threat from an active stalker. He calls himself, "The Watcher". Supposedly the house has been watched for generations; every family that lives there disappears without an explanation. It's up to the well-seasoned agents to put the case to rest. But can they save the current family in time?
