Ariella Pierce has only known war. Ever since the vampire race was exposed to humans, the war began. Wars broke out all over the world, to wipe out the vampires from the Earth.

Ariella is half human, half vampire. All she wants is to survive against the humans. Since she's half human, it's easy for her to blend in with humans. But when she is discovered by the human military, they take her into custody. Upon a miracle, she escapes. While escaping, she runs into the army of vampires, being led by none other than Lord Varik. Once they meet, everything changes. They form a deal, and begin their journey to save their race from complete extinction.
