Madness, hysteria, insanity or psychosis. People are locked away for these reasons. It is what I was taught growing up. That those people are dangerous, and should be kept away at all costs. While some do suffer from these conditions, a lot of them are innocent. But society refuses to accept them for who they are, they can't comprehend that others can be different in the way they act or behave. It wasn't until he arrived that I saw the truth. Where I was able to see how wrong we were.

"Because no one here will ever hurt you my dear," he tells me and I smile a little because honestly I wish there was a world where no one would hurt me, but I know that world doesn't exist.
