I love sponsoring the tributes, it's fun sending small, worthless tributes the world-wide known object for people who won't make it through the first week, a small marka bird (A/N: random name I created) feather and for someone you want to sponsor... a small bronze ring...

Outlaster- A Hunger Games Tale
Suggested age is 11+ *This story has some gory chapters and lots of deaths due to the fact that it is based off the hunger games BEWARE OF CHAPTERS 12-23* Double the drama, triple the excitement! 24 tributes are ready to compete in the 58th annual hunger games. Are you ready? Only 1 person comes out! Who will be the next... Outlaster! *All tributes are my own OC's, the hunger games concept belongs to the writer of the original Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins. If you have not read those books yet, I highly suggest them. I am also not the best at grammar so sorry, try to ignore that thanks!* #theseasonalcontests Written by: EC Edited by: Astral NewmanTerminé
The 136th Hunger Games
When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes. Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. After all, no one ever really wins the Hunger Games. Survives, sure. But wins? Never. ~~+~~ Please Note: This is set in a world where the 2nd Rebellion failed. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the rights to the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, or to the Lionsgate adaptation of her books. (Obviously.) All characters of my creation are copyrighted. ~~+~~ Thank you so much for reading this, it really means so much to me!!! :) I hope you enjoy, and love it as much as I do! (Also sorry for the length, I sort have this thing for details... and long, run-on sentences... and long, run-on sentences stuffed with details...) Please note: This story is technically incomplete, bc I still want to write a few more scenes after the Games like the interviews and stuff, maybe of the Victory Tour, but I've marked it as complete bc...school. Ain't no way that I'm finishing this anytime soon. Hopefully I'll get back around to it eventually.Terminé
Finnick's Story • The Hunger Games | ✓
Like all children in his world, 14-year-old Finnick Odair had the chance of being chosen for the Hunger Games. In a pool stock full of names, he was just as vulnerable as anyone from the ages of 12-18. And in District Four, which often tends to produce Career tributes, its residents could only hope that this year's pair would fall under that description. On Reaping day, a 14-year-old boy's name is called. A name often whispered down the hallways of the local high school, giggled at, fawned over. It was impossible. Him, of all people? It couldn't be, could it? Yet it was. At age 14, Finnick Odair was called forth to be a tribute in the 65th annual Hunger Games. Many residents stood there in doubt, wondering how a boy so young could possibly bring home the victor's crown. There had never been a victor so young, after all. However, there is a first time for everything. __________________________ Excerpt: ❝25, 24, 23...❞ I can do this. I have the skills, the desire...I can win. It's possible. I know it's possible. The odds may be against me, against all of us, but one of us has to win. ❝15, 14, 13...❞ To everyone in District Four who is watching; to my mom, dad, and Annie Cresta, I'm making a promise to you. ❝7, 6, 5, 4...❞ Whatever happens here, I will fight like hell to come back home, ❝3, 2, 1...❞ I promise you.
