Having completed her first trial successfully and becoming a fledgeling, new druid, Basma is celebrated by her tribe, being the first one to complete the rite in over 60 years. She soon heads out to complete the three other trials to become a full druid, however learning of her tribe being attacked and taken captive, she has to decide if completing the trials is the right path or if she should use her new found powers to save her remaining tribesmen.
