Many years ago, in a Louisiana mansion known as Earnheart Manor, lived a spoiled brother and sister. While one wanted love, the other wanted something so evil that he was called a demon. However, in their quests, both met horrific ends. Now, eighty years later, the Greyson family has traveled from rural New Jersey to start a new life. When they hear the mysteries of past disappearances of past families' children, twins Melissa and Thomas are captivated by the stories of the original pair. As they search deeper into the mansion's past, they begin to be drawn into the paths of Isabelle and Samuel Clay, the original brother and sister. Even though they try to be cautious, the future becomes cloudier as they seem to slowly become the Manor's ancestors. Secrets darker than they ever imagined begin to take shape, but first they'll have to save themselves. Disappearing isn't their biggest problem. "Blue Umbrellas" is a thrilling, mixed tale of mystery and paranormal events that will show you that the past is never forgotten.

The summer before her senior year of high school, 17 year old Rose Delaney's divorcee mother moves the family from big city Texas to small-town Maine, claiming that she and her 5 year old brother Liam need a fresh start. Formerly popular and admired in Texas, Rose finds that she's not only unpopular at her new school in Port Braseham, but downright hated. As she tries to fit in to her new surroundings and battles the bullying of Prom Queen nemesis Mary Donovan, Rose begins to realize that her unpopularity might have something to do with Wolfhowl Manor, the spooky run-down house Mrs. Delaney got on the cheap. She begins to notice strange happenings and mysterious voices in the night. As she begins to investigate, with handsome caretaker Beckan O'Dwyre, Rose realizes that she and her family might just be in real danger - because all of the previous owners have died in the house. Will she be able to solve the mysterious history of her house and save her family before it is too late? This is only a preview. For the full manuscript, find me on Amazon.
