Hai I'm Shannon and I'm 13 while in 7th grade and I decided to tell you about some of the journeys I've been on and all the ones yet to come. I have a pretty standard life, I have an abusive dad and great friends. I live with 12 guys at the moment, that drive me crazy!! but I love them. Anyways I hope you like my story! Bye!

Finding Me
My life was not perfect, but as a kid I'd like to think it was great. I know things don't always stay the way they are since tragedy struck and now I have no one. I'm 16 and in the system, people like us don't usually get out we don't usually get looked at twice anymore, but sometimes it just happens. I've always felt that I was different. When I realised I liked men, I thought oh' this is why. But no I still felt different. I love music and have learnt to play the guitar and play the piano. When I was younger, I had two best friends they were twins and lived just down the road to me. They moved away when I was 10 saying "they'd be back" that was nearly 8 years ago and I'm still waiting. People think I'm weak and I get beaten up on a regular bases. I'm not weak though, I just don't care if they hit me or not. They mean nothing to me, but if they are bullying me they are leaving others alone. I heal quickly anyway. The one thing that gets me is the feeling of being different. Just why do I feel different from every other loser in this school? What happens when Kyle realises, why he feels different?
