I see them. Those two little girls everywhere. They're not real, I know that. It like they're there, they wave and then they fade well more like disappear. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. Okay maybe this thing is a little crazy but oh well.

I look into the blue eyes of my best friend and it feels like staring down a stranger. They are familiar and foreign all in the same moment, glossy and pleading. The dimly lit street allows only enough light to cast glimmers on our faces and subtle shadows on the ground. It's raining but I've hardly noticed; all I see is him. "Megan please don't go," he says desperately. "I-I'm sorry." A tear falls steadily down my cheek. I don't want to go but I have to be strong for myself. I run forward and wrap my arms around him in a hug. "I love you Niall," I say near his ear, "I just don't like the person you've become." I hold back a sob, "When my best friend comes back tell him to find me." I don't say another word I just go, leaving him all alone in the dark street...

With one last calming breath, Liam took his hands away and looked to the three boys across from him that he considered brothers. He really wished Zayn were here now as well, but he'd have to tell him later, after Perrie and her cousin were somewhere else. "Apparently, I'm a father." The boys were silent for a minute, then Louis let out a bark of laughter. "Good one, Li. Nice. April Fool's Day is tomorrow, though. But nice try. Daddy Directioner wouldn't have a kid out of wedlock." Liam closed his eyes, then focused on Louis' disbelieving--yet still wary--smile. "No, Louis, it's true. Simon called and they ran a DNA test and everything. There's a little boy named Taylor waiting for me to pick him up from the London Orphanage on Wednesday morning." Again, everyone was silent. Finally, Louis' mouth dropped open, eyes wide as he realized Liam wasn't kidding. "Holy shit." He breathed, hands dropping loosely in his lap. "Liam Payne is a father. Holy shit." or the one where liam finds out he has a three year old son. chaos ensues.

I scrounge around the magazine section and look past the little girl magazines that I used to read. Seventeen and teen vogue and twist all filled with that boy band. Ugh... I flip through them, laughing at what they until I get to the one direction section in Seventeen. Harry, Zayn, Louis, Liam, and Niall. Niall...I flip through it quickly and smirk at all this and put it on the shelf and start to walk away. My brain finally, some how clicks. "WOAH... WOAH WAIT WHAT?!?!" I scream and realize some little kids are in front of me. I give them a small smile at them as they scream and run the other way. I turn and run back to the magazines in a rush. I sit against the wall and pull that magazine back out again. Niall... Niall... He looks exactly like he does. How does he NOT tell me this stuff when I hang out with him? "How am I that stupid." I whisper to myself and groan and hit my head repeatedly against a wall. Maybe I can knock some sense into my own head if I do this. Nope. Still feel like an idiot. How can I be so stupid? How do I not notice this sort of thing? I mean they are all over! -------------------- Let me tell you a bit about myself. I hate one direction. I really do. But this obviously fake dyed blonde haired boy saves me from a directioner going a concert and then he asks me if I would want to go out with him?! What kind of question is that? Let me tell you about the adventure of finally picking up the broken parts of my heart and letting go of my past and moving on from the bad and onto the new. You never know who would be the one to actually save me.

There’s only one person that can stop it. Jannice is 16 and just a normal girl. 98% normal. The other 2% is avian. She's grown up as a hostage at a lab in Colorado where geneticists have experimented on her and her 6 friends. But now that they've escaped, there's one easy task. Just one. Then they're free. Jannice just has to save the world. Her righthand man Liam was created to support her, and Lily was created to be her guide. And Harry, Niall, Louis, and Zayn? They were created to help. But everything's going wrong. They keep getting followed, everyone seems to be an Extenguisher, the flock splits, and Lily has predicted Liam's death! And Niall's blindness isn't helping either. Even with newfound powers, how can 7 fugitives save the planet? And are two romances blooming? Will the flock save the world, stop the 99% plan, and be free forever; or will they be retired? ========== I've been doing everything I can to keep the flock safe-how could I be on THEIR side?! A soft knock cam on the door. "Jannice, you OK?" came Liam's voice. Tear ran down my face and I didn't answer. "I'm coming in" I heard the door open. "NO!" I cried, but he ignored it and sat on the bed. "What's up?" he asked, staring at me as I lay at his feet. I knew I could tell him, if anyone. "I saw me in the mirror...as an Extenguisher, but when I felt my skin, it was just skin. Liam?" "HM?" he stroked my wet hair soothingly. "If...if I ever went bad, promise me youll protect he flock...from me" His eyes grew. "I-I promise..." "Thank you" my voice cracked. "And you'll be the leader?" "Sure" his face looked concerned. "I just can't see it" I took a deep breath. "Me neither, but whatever happens" he arose and knelt down beside me. "We'll be fine" he pecked my forehead and walked out.

NIALL: What in the world just happened? I choked at seeing this girl? And did a spit take when I actually got a good look at her? What the hell is wrong with me? LOUIS: I turn around because I'm sure that would have made Summer laugh. But she remains silent. Her hands are still doing something with my phone and the stereo. Her face is blank looking at Niall with her eyes slightly squinted. That's weird. Summer has laughed almost every time one of us does something funny. ZAYN: "But you're One Direction." I hear her mumble. She sighs. "And that matters because?" She doesn't need to be so insecure around us. She just needs to be herself. I know that's what Niall likes. She turns around, giving me a look and with her hands on her hips. "Do I need to explain it to you?" She says sassily. Then she giggles turning back around. HARRY: "Where do you want to go?" The way her American accent blends in with her awkwardness and sassiness is attractive. And it's also funny because Niall hasn't taken his eyes off her the whole time. Mission accepted. Niall and Summer. LIAM: I look at him with a smirk on my face. He furrows his eyebrows at me. "What?" "Summer will be here soon and with all of us busy with our interviews. I thought Niall could occupy her." Zayn squints his eyes at me and comes right up in my face. "What?" I back up laughing a bit. He backs off. "You're quite the mastermind." He gives me a nod of approval. SUMMER: Man, how are we living in a world where a normal teenage girl can't fangirl anytime and anywhere? This sucks. Please forgive the minor bad fanfic moments, such as where they meet, falling in love in a short period of time, and a couple of small character cliches.
