"Why on earth had I decided to try camping in the woods without a tent?"
  
  With no recollection of who she is or how she got there, 20 year old "E" wakes up alone in a forest with nothing except the clothes she is wearing. Driven by the need to know more, she is plunged into the world of Halcyon, where mysterious fights for control dominate the surroundings.  
  
  Soon, a new but familiar threat rears its ugly head and E has to unite with the mysterious assassins Taka and Koshka in order to defeat it.
  
  But things are only getting started and  soon matters get out of hand. Secrets are revealed and mysteries are solved but our heroes may soon find out there is an even bigger enigma hiding in plain sight.
  
  
  A/N This story is a fanfiction but you shouldn't actually need to know anything about vainglory to read it. All relevant information that you need to know should be available within the story.

Korrasami fanfiction. I'm not sure if anyone else has done this before but oh well heres my shot of it. No bending I'm just mainly using the characters. Set in the Victorian Era. ----- Distance was all that mattered at this moment in time. She wasn't stopping for anything , especially not because of a little rain . A smirk painted across her lips from underneath her cloth as she stepped backwards steadily into the darkness of an alley, it was acting like a cloak; completely engulfing her whole body like she wasn't even there. The men, now in a group, huddled around the spot where she was last seen, frantically searching for any clues to where she might've sprung off too. "How embarrassing," She chuckled softly, brushing herself down as she made her way across the roof of each house. And what did she owe to the dwarves, to be running into a mountain with a dragon? "I wish you would have agreed. Halidien, you will go." Mithrandir insisted. "And why would I do that? The dwarves can handle their own problems." "You owe me, and once this quest is over that oath will be fulfilled." He explained, causing Halidien to pale. Hundreds of years ago, Mithrandir had saved her life and she had made an oath to him to help whenever he may need. But the idea of him forcing her to fulfill the oath for this, seemed ridiculous to her. A/N I do not own any character other than Halidien and maybe more if I choose to add more. She had such soft skin, it was a delicacy to touch. Her name was beautiful too the way it rolled straight off my tongue. "What are you doing in this part of the forest?" She said "Oh my dearest apologies am I trespassing?" I said "This is my and my mother's property. She doesn't like people coming on her property. No one lives on this property but her and I" Freya said "I shall leave I apologize for intruding. It was a pleasure to meet you Freya" I said and started walking away I felt her grab my wrist. "Please don't leave. We don't have to tell her" Freya said "I have somewhere where she won't find us" Freya said "Care to join me?"
