"I wanted to be your everyday Gerald!" she admitted breaking eye contact from him immediately.

This scared her so much. It scared her even more than it did three years ago. It scared her to even possibly allow him to be back in her presence. Let alone to have him back in her life.

But most importantly in her heart.

"You weren't looking for an everyday , you were looking for a once in awhile and I could never be that and you know it" she continued feeling the tears beginning to fall from her eyes.

He sat across from her not saying a word. 

She continued to cry. She cried so hard that he could hear her chest rattling as she had tried to continue to get her breathing back under control.
