When Khloe and Bri arrive in a strange encampment with only three other girls and themselves, the only thing Khloe can remember is her name and Bri. But the more time she spends in the 'Glade', the more strange and disturbing things start to happen. Soon more people begin to join them and suddenly not everything is as it seems. Is there a more sinister meaning to why they are all trapped together? Is it really impossible to escape this murderous prison or do people know more than they are letting on?

"We are never getting out of here are we," I said to my best friend without the slightest bit of hope. "Come on, Teddy. Don't think like that," he says trying to reassure me. I notice him fidgeting with his hands, knowing I'm probably right. We are both standing on the Watch tower, leaning over the railing. I look across the Glade. I study the people and my surroundings.
