I watched as she struggled, as he smelt her. But nothing prepared me for her cry of pain. It tore me in half. I watched as he kissed her, if only my feet could move faster, I watched as he plunged the knife into her chest and take her from this world.

And now as I sit here, my hands shaking as the beast within me roared in outrage, in pain. Her blood coated my hands and her purple eyes held mine for so little time. I held her in my arms as her life slipped away. I flinched as I held onto her last breath, her last words, as I pressed my face into her hair.
