The year is 2140, and the world is separated into factions. There are the ordinary people, those who live lives of wealth, prosperity, and comfort. And then there are the Others.
Ember is an Other. Born congenitally deaf, she has spent her entire life being treated like a second-class creature. But what happens when she leaves? Ember will challenge the world's view of what makes a person 'Other', and will change everything.
