Travelling Through Time

A dam of memories break inside of me. The faces of so many loved ones that I lost when I agreed to this life, who I yearn for every day.
"Do not think you are the only one who has lost," I speak not without sympathy, "for all Time Travlers gave up their lives to answer the call. Every second of every minute of every hour all I see is their faces, my mother, my brother, my husband, my son." I begin to sob, allowing the pain to wash over me.
I open my arms and pull you close, needing the comfort of another.
"I can sense a time is coming now, when humanity will need us. To try and ignore it would be genocide, for I sense death as well. But never fear about loss of family, for you are my family now."
