Akane was a member of the guild though quit when the real game started. With her she has Laughing Coffins secrets. She must stay alive and keep her secret of being an old Laughing Coffin member. Though that's kind of hard when you are permanently tattooed with their mark. Too make matters worse she runs into Kirito himself who is not to fond of PKs and her adopted father is Kayaba. The creator of this death game.
