Normally, this would be no problem for King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, but sheer numbers can put fear in the hearts of even the very best swordsman. There were at least two score of Morganas' men, all bearing the mark of the best ring of mercenaries.
They charged, filling the once peaceful air with a deafening racket that was enough to make the hairs on the back of Merlin's neck stand straight up. Merlin dimly noticed Gwaine, Percival, Arthur and Leon drawing their swords, stoic expressions etched upon all of their faces. They were great knights, the very best, but 4 was no match for 40. The only choice was to use magic."
A storyline diverging from the canon plot of Merlin where Arthur finds out Merlin has magic. And it's on neither of their terms.

I hesitate. Why did I have this strange feeling? This strange aura behind the door. It wasn't like a threatening kind of feeling. But it was strange. Like if I opened this door, it would change my life forever. I hear a knock again. I shake my head from these feelings and thoughts. I then open it and look down to see a young child with a hood on. "Hello? Did you need something?" I ask. The child looks up and takes her hood off, revealing her long, black hair. The young girl looks up at me, showing her blue eyes. "Can I help you with something?" "Yes. I'm looking for my Father." Athena says. I ask, "Do you know his name?" "Yeah." she nods. I smile. She was a adorable little girl with blue eyes. I can't help but think she looked awfully familiar. "Well?" I say. "You." she says. I then feel a deep pit in my stomach. She can't be. "Pardon?" "You're my father. Merlin. Servant to the King." she says. "....no." I say softly. This can't be happening. "I'm your daughter." she smiles. My daughter. Who I didn't even know existed until now, is standing right in front of me. Will be responsible for the fall of Camelot. The beginning of Morgana's rule. Change of Plans
Gwaine sees Morgana on the street and instantly is drawn to her. Morgana also feels the same way once she has met Gwaine. Time and time again they run into each other, growing closer and closer. But with all the drama in Camelot the two of them have trouble being together... This is a rough rough draft :) I absolutely love Eoin Macken (Gwaine) and Kate MacGrath (Morgana) together. Merlin sighed as he finished Arthur's clothes. Today was the day. The day he knew pain. The day he knew betrayal. The day he found his magic. The worst day of his life. Arthur and the knights found out a long time ago to not ask about it, they don't like to talk about that day that it happened.... *shivers* Gwaine had enough though. He wanted to know what had happened that day. Gwaine kept thinking and realized that he knew very little about Merlin while, Merlin knew almost everything about every knight, servant, noble, everyone of Camelot it seemed.
