25 years ago, society was in chaos. All the money in the economy was sucked into a vortex called corruption. Life was luxury for the rich politicians, but miserable for everyone else.
Protests and riots happened all around the country. People wanted their grievances recognized. They wanted a real democracy.
The leaders, not being able to silence this turmoil, turned to force, and massacred crowds of those who expressed dissent. So much bloodshed occurred in the country, that the government had no choice. They stepped down, and this homicide finally led to The Shift.
The Shift gave way to teenagers, aged between 18 and 21, to rule the country. Initially, it was a social experiment, but the idea was a grand success, saving a country on the brink of extinction.

Celestia was a quiet and selfless girl, bent on helping everyone with their problems, big or small. Orlando was a boisterous, funny, and noble guy, who did the same. Both were 17. Both were best friends. Both were in the race, the competition, the test, to become president.
They would face challenges, both mental and physical. Their emotions would be stretched to their limits.

This is their story.
