Imogene was a lone Shadowhunter: killing demons in the dead of night with no back up. Until one night in broadway she faces a ravener demon, she was going to be killed. If it wasn't for Jace saving her at her weakest moment. Now she is taken under the wings of the Shadowhunters of the New York institute, where she makes new friends and learns new things. But will it stay this way for long? Or will new challenges arise, causing unrest in the shadow and downworld alike?

She was once a strong fighter, feared by some and respected by most. Now, she must regain the edge she once had in order to save humanity and people of her kind. With help from trusted allies, she rejoins the Nephilim's temporarily in order to stop Aspen Wolf, a powerful Warlock with the will of destroying all that stands between him and taking over Idris. Being the only one left of her kind, the only Craftsmen that could be found, she knows that no matter how badly she wanted a normal life, she'll never have one. She struggles back and forth between coming back as a Shadowhunter or continuing to try and live a normal life.
