After the death of Emma Swan's beloved mother, Queen Snow White, seventeen-year-old Emma is faced with the hardest decision of her life;
Become Queen, or run away with the pirate who wants to kill the famous demon: The Dark one. 

Being more of a knight than a Lady, and still grieving her mothers passing, Emma has no interest in becoming Queen, so she chooses the latter. 

While travelling with this pirate, Captain Hook, she learns unbelievable tales of his past travels and becomes very intrigued by them. As her and Hook grow closer and closer, she learns more strange and terrifying secrets about him, but finds it harder and harder to think about going home. 

A story of love, revenge, and everything in between, how will Emma overcome the many obstacles that stand in between her and true happiness?
