    Alan Humphries is the newest member to the Reaper HQ. Reluctant, Eric Slingby is forced by his pain in the ass boss to train and teach Alan how to be a real reaper.  At first, Eric has no intention of doing his job properly and simply wants another reason to give William more over time. However, when he begins to notice more about Alan, he'll do everything and anything to make sure William doesn't send him away to a new department for his training.
