You have probably all heard the tale of Hansel and Gretel. But there are always two sides to a story, and there is one person who never got to share hers.

Meet Alais Shaddowhych. Cursed for eternity, never to be seen by another living soul, she lives alone. It's a quiet life, secluded, in a world she has grown tired of. But there is no escape. Not for her.

And then she meets them. Two innocent children, or so she thinks, lost and afraid. Who can see her. With a new-found hope, she cares for them, as if they were her own.

But her life is about to change, in ways she could never expect. For better, for worse, once she has been seen, there is no going back.

A retelling of the classic Grimm's fairy-tale, with a twist!
