Guns everywhere, death knocking at the door. One young Israeli boy and one young Palestinian boy, shutting out the world around them. Their unlikely friendship forming on a basis of distrust and discomfort. Both of them walking in already filled with judgement forced on them by everyone and everything around them. Meeting once by coincidence in their connecting backyards, being forced to confront the war that was always eating at them. Seeing the world through another's eyes is hard, but understanding the world if harder. Please don't steal my stories and ideas. i am super open to comments but please don't steal my work. i work very hard on it. They keep each other sane without even realizing it. It's always been the four of them. Until they meet them. Until she meets ℎ𝑖𝑚. Booker stopped caring a long time ago. Between taking care of his sick grandma, dodging bullets and keeping up with school, life is just something he's pushing through. The only things holding him together? His grandma and a stupid promise he made in the seventh grade. Neither of them is looking for more, but sometimes, the people you least expect become the ones you need the most.
