Welcome to the future, written in the past. A mutant plague has rendered part of the population as zombie-like humanoids. They have a conscious mind though, but their craving for brains is a bit of an antisocial issue. Being mostly made up of impoverished individuals, it is not surprised that they got cured cheaply and lastly, despite being the main test subjects. Lochlyn is their representative. She just wanted an education beyond elementary school. A little luckier stricken part of the infected population evolved into reverents. Reverants have a feudal system over the zombies to "keep them in order". The luck may have had to do with them being upper-class when being treated. Basilica is their representative. At eighteen, she wanted body modifications, a job, and etc... as a rite of passage entering adulthood. At least that's what she was thinking. The more she was told no, the more she wondered what she could do. There are still uninfected humans left in the U.S.A. Most of them are middle-class. Katrina is their representative. She gained a family member, but lost two. She aches to find out why she can never return home again. The three eighteen-year-old females, along with their beaus, journey for truth, equality, justice, restoration, love, and freedom lead them to the same end: the capital. 82 parts Complete
10 years into the future four sisters discover they have unusual super powers. While reading the journals of their recently deceased mother she supernaturally speaks to them from the past. (Mary died suddenly due to a newly released hyper-virus by The Powers That Be.) The young women discover not only had their mother been quenching their powers since they were babies but through her journals is now urging them to to do the exact opposite. "Rise up! *You were born for such a time as this." However the recent abandonment by their mother in death and their father in grief has left them struggling as they've been thrust into adulthood overnight. The world desperately needs them. Will they stop bickering and worrying about boys, fashion and proms long enough to save the day? *Esther 4:4 Gifts: Baby in the corner Beth (19) has the ability to draw her heart's desires. She thinks it's only while using her big box of 64 crayons. She doesn't realize the power is in her mind's eye and not her writing implements. Jo (20) can teleport. Of course she doesn't always stick her landings. At first her landings are as messy as is her life. She's lost her mother, her family home, her faith and now thinks she may be losing her mind. Supercilious self-absorbed Amy (17) has the uncanny ability to get others to do what she wants. She says, ever so sweetly, "I'd prefer..." Dad always called it "wrapping others around her little finger syndrome." If she wanted she could ask a perfect stranger to hand over his car keys and he'd have to oblige. The oldest sister Meg (21) has dreams and visions about the world's near future. She's also very intuitive. Perhaps if she were better at seeing her own future maybe her personal life wouldn't be in shambles?

Back At The Park ✔️

18 parts Complete

"That day at the park had been strange. I sat their alone with the sense of someone watching me swing on the swingset. My house was right down the street and my parents gave me a small cellphone to call them in case I ever needed. My neighborhood wasnt safe, lots of kids were stolen from this very park and some even killed while being held captive. Police never found the killer and legend has it the ghost of kids killed from this park will follow you home and kill you, making you suffer worse than they themselves did. They believed that If they couldnt be alive, no other kid should be too. Why I decided to go here alone? Reason unknown... Typical Me. Murders and any suspected kidnappings hadnt happened in years but who knew when they were bound to happen again? That was why I was running home. Alone, scared, and soaked in rain water. Even better my parents had left to a nearby market with a note on the door saying they'd be back soon." -JadaWesley copywright 2015
