These are a bunch of Greek myths that I have heard from family members. These myths were told by word of mouth so I tried my best to add as much detail as i possibly could. Some you will defiantly be familiar with and others not so much so i hope you enjoy them

Tempting the Fates

Saga One
This is a work in progress. It will take a long time and many hiatuses for me to finish it. I intend to complete the first act before December, but I promise nothing more. Not like anyone reads my stuff anyway. I've set the story in an alternate reality. The main inspirations for the world are probably "Castle in the Sky," "Final Fantasy," and "Metropolis." There's a lot of steampunk, and while some thought is put into the logistics of how technology works, I won't focus on it much. Technology is vaguely 19th and 20th century, and it's meant to be Earth, but the geography is slightly different. There are a few other differences in their history, but those will become obvious as you read. Act I: Part I will focus on Julio, a young and ambitious historian from Sainte Marie in Gaul, as he meets Kallista, a Spartan girl. They mix like oil and water, but must learn to work together as the long journey to Athens introduces several obstacles that threaten their safety.Complete
DIVINE - A Persephone And Hades Retelling
"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld." Daughter of Hades
We all know the story of how Hades's kidnapped Persephone from her mother and his sister Demeter, brought her to the Underworld and tricked her by eating a Pomegranate that forces her to spend half the year in the Underworld with him. While Persephone may have been reluctant to be with the King of The Underworld at first, she slowly grew to love it and her husband. Hades being the most hated God received a curse from Persephone father, Zeus, that any child Hades and Persephone had together would destroy the world as we know it. Neglecting to tell his young wife this Persephone becomes pregnant. Excited to tell her husband about the news when she gets back to the underworld, her mother let's her know of the curse that Zeus has put on the child. Demeter urges her to be rid of the child, but Persephone, Goddess of Fertility denies the request and hides her pregnancy from all. Once Persephone has the child Zeus and Hades find out, so she asks Athena and Aphrodite for protection of the beautiful little girl. They counteract the little girls curse by providing the girl with a future love so strong, it will kill the darkness inside of her. This is the story of that girl, Helena, Daughter Of Hades.Complete

Wingo, who is believed to be the son of Apollo, traveled from his home from Sparta to answer the call of his foster father, Leon. Reunited happily but the days were old for the orphans. They train most of their days but creatures of the gods haunt their home. Questions, origins and prophecies had them coming, leaving their homes to ask the Oracle of Delphi. After the truth has been revealed the brothers venture out to Olympus where they were sent back down by the god that held the lightning bolt forged by the cyclops from Tartarus.
