A year after the events of The Witch Chronicles, Perry's friends are still feeling the tremors of his sacrifice. They've all moved on with their lives, save for his Father and Brother, who will stop at nothing to bring him back to the mortal world. 

The spell is successful but does not go as planned. Perry returns but does not do so alone. An infinite and malevolent darkness returns and threatens to devour Perry and his friends whole.

Through guilt and depression, Perry must find a way to combat the darkness and save himself from utter ruin. He, along with his friends, go up against not only the darkness of the world, but the darkness in themselves as the ripples of Perry's return leave the world around them in utter chaos.

With only his wavering moral compass, his supernatural powers and friends, he must go about saving the world from the darkness that threatens to end life as they know it.
