Mutant turtles... You know the story. An old man flees Japan to escape his violent past, in search of a peaceful and a humble life in America. An old enemy hunts him down and injures the old man. Once a skillful martial arts instructor, the man decides to open up a simple pet store because of his injury and his discontent for people. The pet store becomes a front for a meth lab. The old man (barely) tends to the pet store and uses meth to escape his pain and make a little money. The man's successful half-brother brings him a sample of mutagen from the Trans-mutagen Dynamics & Research Institute (TDRI). The old man begins experimenting with the mutagen both in his meth process and on his pets (some turtles, a rat). The turtles: Cleon, Mickey, Graff, and Lonnie. Their Sifu, the rat: Flint. The problem: Lonnie has become the biggest meth maker, not only in New York City, but in the Tri-state area. Now, enemies waiting in the shadows are hungry for a piece of the action. Thousands of years ago, two brothers stood on opposite sides of the battlefield, one fought for peace while the other wanted violence. They were a set of twins who were raised by their separated parents after a law had been broken and one was taken to live in the mountains while the other grew up in the peaceful lands of their kings and queens. The one who lived like royalty was the younger of the twins while the one who lived in isolation was the oldest, both of them struggled not seeing one another and snuck out all the time up until their eleventh birthday as they took the gift of loyalty. Both of them were afraid to separate but knew if they disobeyed the gods, there was a potential chance one of them would lose something dear to them... Years Later... A new enemy threatens the peace of New York after a battle which was too intense leaving not only Leonardo fataly injured but bringing about news of two secret brothers living amongst the walls of the city. This enemy wants to rid of the brothers and seek out the golden throne that possesses a powerful magic which will help them take over the world. While the turtles try to work out who the brothers are, two of them experience strange visions which links to what is being spoken about. Thanks to shredder taking away the turtles being turtles and turning them into humans things have gone from bad to worse. As Donnie prays for cure the others struggle to find a way to live with the guilt they have of abandoning their family. When all hope seems lost will an unlikely friend save them? Will they ever find their rat master splinter? And can this broken family heal and reform a bond?
