The Dancing Cat

Celine was always very sheltered by her parents, spending most of her time in the old ballroom where they gave dance lessons to their affluent clients. But, when she is eight years old, she slips away to go on her own adventure. To her surprise, she discovers someone that she never imagined could exist. When this mysterious person becomes a part of her life, Celine's small, strange world changes forever. Nine years pass when suddenly danger and magic seem to be waiting around every corner. Will Celine and those she holds dear be able to survive?

This story mostly comes from a very strange and fantastical dream that I had a while ago. I just thought that it was too wonderful not to at least try to put into words and share.
