The world has begun to end and the son of The Maker has gone to earth to hopefully save it before his father destroys all the people due to their mass amount of sin. But in Koda's goal to save the world and show them the light, he meets a strange girl. She is not holy, like Koda, but she is no demon either. She also does not fit the human catogory. As Koda realizes her potential, he draws the attention of Lucifer, who is trying to keep Koda from succeeding. Kyla must fight to understand what the truth is in this war of right and wrong. She must find who she is, what makes her unique and who's side in this war she will be on. It is up to Kyla to show that even in the middle of chaos and darkness, no one is alone. Similar to bible stories, but put into real world, futuristic context. The audience is for high school students to young adult.

Kaylie "Kea" Alton's life turned upside down when she found fairies in the forest behind her father's house. At the tender age of seven, she was given the task to take care of the forest and the magical creatures therein - to become the Keeper of Albinan. Things went well for twelve years. As soon as the thirteenth year came around, things started getting interesting. With the appearance of a new creature from the lake, Kea and the rest of the creatures are wary. Something is happening, and when the creature starts talking gibberish about Atlantis and demonic inhabitation, she is forced to take him seriously. What she doesn't understand is why this creature of the lake is helping her and what he has to gain from it. And what is going to happen as a result of this new threat. ** A/N: If I were to give this book a rating, it would be a moderate PG-13. It is pretty violent (I mean, obviously, the demon wants to kill everything, so...), and there are instances of mild language and non-graphic "encounters," as it were. So consider yourself warned. ;) Thanks for reading!
