Pierre St.Claire is one of the few French Survivors of the Magical Apex, an event releasing all the dark sides of magic ranging from werewolves to fiendish beings who have never before seen the light of day. His family was killed, but he was found by NATO troops. He is walking by the Kyoto School of Magi when he sees a girl fighting three guys occurring in the front courtyard. He rushes to help her then realises that he's not supposed to be able to pass through the school's barrier. He learns he has a hidden power, one that can save or destroy this world.
