"What!?" The fire burning in his eyes was unmistakable, and I couldn't seem to look away, not even once. "What do you mean what, all I did was go to a party and have some fun or is fun something you can't comprehend!?" I said trying to rile him up knowing he can't help but fall for it. "Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here. "Nope, your coming out to dinner away from this dump with your brothers and father", He said whilst looking around in discust. I rolled my eyes at him which he looked pretty shocked at. "Look Stone, Im not that 6 year old you can just boss around and fuck over anymore, I can take care of myself, Ive been doing that for my whole life so far, so why not the rest, so either order something or get the fuck out", I said to him getting faster and faster as I spoke. The boys gasped when I swore at Stone. He, on the other hand, looked furious. Matilda is 16 years old, with 5 older brother, 5 terrifying older brothers in who she hates with a passion. They left her to deal with their father wrath, to live their own lives far away. She now lives alone, in a dangerous and dirty neighbourhood, but she doesn't care, as long as she is far away from those she is suppose to call family. But when they all turn up for Christmas, hoping for happy times and warm hugs, she is instilled with fear and pure anger. Will she accept them, or will they stop trying? Could I suck any worse at descriptions?... probably not. Still, I think you should give the story a chance before you disregard it. Story excerpt: "I don't want to be a king. I've never wanted to be king! You know this, Father. Please..." I beg hoping he has another solution. "I see no other option. Look out the window, Ethan. It hasn't even been an hour, and a crowd has gathered at our doors. What do you want me to do? The people love you. The soldiers respect you. The only members of the clan you need to win over are the stuffed shirts and with what your brother just pulled? You're as good as gold." "You wanted this to happen." I accuse him, and he shrugs. "Want? No. Expect? Yes. Your brother is more concerned with holding his mothers dress than leading his people... but by all means, if you have a plan to make him a worthy ruler, lay it out for me, Captain." Father responds, looking for a battle plan to reign in his own son. "Are you willing to stand up to your mate?" I ask and he shudders before nodding. I've got some work to do.

Third book after Jaime, and Angelica. Angelica's sons are grown and they are meeting their mate. He had an idea, that was all. He wanted to help his people as a whole. He didn't think he'd be the first to try it out. His life was turned upside down, but maybe that was a good thing. But how does he cope with mates that are more wolf then man? It's hard to have a relationship when your mates don't talk much. (Told from Blake and Andrews mates point of view.) Excerpt: Okay, I admit that this was my idea but, I didn't think that Alpha would send me. Yes, pack exchange would help to freshen packs. Blood, minds, get packs that were stagnant and stuck decades in the past to move forward. I recommended enforcers, warriors and Omega's, positions that would do the most good. I was none of those. I was just a random beta with barely the wolf to keep my position and not fall down a rank. But my alpha said that the other packs were not so keen on doing it. So he was going to lead by example. All known packs were put into a database by the council and random generators paired packs to exchange people. Since alpha wanted to lead, we were first to get paired. We got paired with a pack across the country. My flight out had been uneventful thankfully. Most of my things had been shipped, I had two suitcases of things I was wheeling toward the exit of the airport. Supposedly this pack had sent someone to pick me up.
