Life is never easy when you are the only one who can defeat evil.
What makes it harder, is that your parents, best friend, and the old family friend Christopher, whom she soon figures out is her grandfather, have lied to you your whole life, making you thing your human, when your actually immortal. That just makes things extra hard. Especially if you only have 8 years to get ready for the great war where you might possibly die and let down your whole race (yay! - note the sarcasm). Or win, and live happily ever after. But thats the thing, it's hard getting your happily ever after, but Sarah is determined to. And with the help of her trainer/grandfather Christopher - a wise old man - and best friend, Chase - the goofy one, who sticks by her side no matter what, and is the one who taught her how to use her magic, Sarah knows that she can do anything.
But is her confidence enough to win the Great War? Just how hard will her training be? Will she give up, and let down everyone? and more importantly, Will Sarah Trever ever get her happily ever after?
You'll just have to read the Immortal series to find out.
