The Ipsae Family Gathering took place on September 11, 2001. The Corcillum, Magicae, Tempore and Decus sections and the two patrons, Latia and Latian came together at the secret Ipsae underground fortress under the Twin Towers. Each section or patron brought their pieces of the Potestatem, the Great Power. As they fit the pieces together, the building shook. Latia quickly exited the building to see a plane coming straight towards the towers, marked with the initials "A.L." This stood for Amalda LuVerne, the evil sorceress. Then, the plane struck.

As she walked into the rubble and fire, Latia Ipsae sighed greatly. Latia willed the pieces of the Potestatem and threw them into the sky, yelling: "Go! Scatter yourselves!" The six pieces broke, and flew in opposite directions. The Postatem pieces should be safe from Amalda LuVerne.
