These people are the protectors and they're to make sure these greater humans, The Luminaries of Phoenix, are safe from the depraved people with the need for power. Verity, a 16 year old girl who has trained her whole life to be a protector, who has been through so many trials and tribulations, soon finds out that she is more than what she has trained to be....That she has a bigger more better purpose that might just bring back the human existence
