The Incident on 92 Second Street

This story was inspired by the hacking murders of Mr. Andrew and Mrs. Abby Borden in 1892. For over a century, it has been believed that Mr. Bordens daughter, Lizzie, was the perpetrator. Lizzie was tried and acquitted of the heinous crime on the grounds that it was believed then that a woman was not capable of such brutality. Whether she committed the crime or not is still a mystery.
If she did, this might have been what was going through her mind at that moment.
