Thirty years ago, in a remote village in India lived Ilaa. Her family were cotton farmers and that was the major occupation of the whole village. All was going well for Ilaa, until something drastic happens and she is left as the sole breadwinner in her family. But can she actually earn to feed her family in this male dominated society. Ilaa has so many obstacles in her way, but they say " You don't know how strong you are until being strong is the only option you have." This is Ilaa's story, a feisty young woman who doesn't give up, come hell or high water.

Note- This is a story set in a remote village in India in the 80's. The society and the mentality of the people is sexist and male chauvinist, but it was not uncommon during that time. This is a one-shot.
