How do you define love?

They said, "age doesn't matter" but why do they keep on saying, "you're too young to be in love!"

Why do people keep on waiting for the perfect time? How do you know when the time is perfect?

They said "love is blind"? Then how come some people had "love at first sight"?

They said, promises are made to be broken..then why on earth would someone create something that's not supposed to last?

I too, once believed in love and promises..

Until I realized that love is a carnival.. it gives you a roller coaster ride; the sweetest cotton candy; the fluffiest stuffed toy; the most memorable time of your life..

but at the end of the day, you'll realize that it was all smokes, mirrors and illusions. You've been the clown in your own story; joke's on you.. you've been fooled and laughed at. And as the kid holding the balloon from yesterday's prize..
