The knife fell from my trembling hand, clashing loudly against the pavement as I stare in shock at the lifeless form in front of me.

Kara Stallion had never lived in one place for long. From birth her parents always moved around, then she moved from foster home to foster home. She finally settled down with a foster parent who actually takes care of her, but once again she is forced to move. 

A small town in Canada became her new home after her "Aunt" Cassie went bankrupt. The town was known for a lot of things, it's production of wheat, wool and  consistent amount of deaths.
