Elyse is about to be crowned queen of her kingdom when she accidentally kills her sister at a party. Struggling to control her newly discovered powers, she heads out on a quest to hunt down her sister's fiance, David; But not before she unknowingly captures the heart of a young blacksmith's apprentice in the poor town she rules over.
